We make these every year for Fall, Easter Eggs for Easter, Stars for Advent, Shamrocks for Saint Patrick's Day.....well we really like this craft :)

What you need:

- Wax Paper

- Crayon bits and pieces

- 2 pieces of leftover fabric that can (and in my case always) catch any crayon leaks

- Iron

- Black construction paper (this is optional)

  What to do:

- I prefer to separate the crayon colors (reds, orange/yellow, greens) into little snack bags.

- Smash crayon into tiny bits

  - Cover ironing board or a flat sturdy surface with one piece of fabric

- Tear off a piece of wax paper, lay on top of the fabric

- Sprinkle with crayon bits

- Top with another piece of wax paper (basically making a wax paper & crayon sandwich)

- Top with 2nd piece of fabric

- Iron (highest setting, no steam) with slow circles until the crayon bits have melted

- Let cool

  Frame Steps (optional):

- Fold a sheet of construction paper in half, sketch a basic leaf shape, cut out the shape

- Open and check shape, adjust if necessary

- Re-fold and make a parallel cut about 1 inch inside the leave, this will make the frame

- Open

- Glue your frame to the wax paper wherever you desire

- Cut around the frame
